Artist's Statement
"I paint people to honor
them, to help preserve their own heritage. I paint to celebrate
the mystery of life which allows me to leave behind a portion of
myself."
- Sherry Andrychuk
"The innocence and beauty of children
always remind me of the sacredness of life. There is almost
a mystical beauty in the face of a child. It is a hope and
vision for a better world."
"My works range from realistic to
impressionism, to whimsical, to visionary. Much of my work
is birthed from my poetry and are narratives of my psychological
exploration. They represent my own solitude and reflection
- dichotomies of innocence and wisdom."

"My personal goal is to ultimately
create art that heals the wounded heart and is filled with spirit
to feed a hungry soul."
"A portion of all proceeds from my
work are sent to Maputo, Mozambique where I contribute to over 1000
abandoned, displaced and orphaned children."
