Born in Hardisty, Alberta, Marg later married John Skoberg and moved to Moose Jaw, Sask. She came to Cranbrook in 2000.

In 1965 Marg took her first art lessons and began seeing the beauty of the sweeping prairie landscape and never ending skies through new eyes.

From 1968 - 1973 the Skoberg family lived in Ottawa where Marg was able to study under leading artists Larry Halpin, Henri Maisson and Fred Maheux.

Marg has exhibited in Ottawa, Regina, Moosejaw, Swift Current, Westbank, Peachland, Kelowna and Penticton.  She has a number of her paintings in government offices and many more are in private Canadian collections.

In 1986 Marg and her husband John retired to Peachland where the beauty of the Okanagan presented new challenges.  She now paints and exhibits with the Summerland Art Club and the Peachland Art Club.  Marg continues to take workshops and now lives in Cranbrook, B.C.
