Sue
was born in England in 1946 and moved to Canada at the age of
nine. She finished school in West Vancouver.
Her love of art began very
young and she tried many forms of art and craft including batik,
oil painting and stained glass.
Sue started watercolor painting
in 1987 while raising a family on a ranch in the Cariboo.
She got her art education from taking many workshops with well
known artists.
Her
watercolors are characterized by rich color and bold patterns,
and her subjects include florals, fish, landscapes and old buildings.
Sue now lives in Invermere
and teaches watercolor painting at the College of the Rockies.
